Come Hear Handel’s Jephtha in Russell, Kansas!

In 1751 G.F. Handel composed what would become his final oratorio, Jephtha.  The work was performed often and has stood the test of time.  Two-hundred-sixty-five years later I am fortunate to sing in the chamber choir that will perform the work in the Ad Astra Music Festival in Russell, Kansas.

The piece will be conducted by the festival’s founder, Alex Underwood.  Alex is originally from Russell and taught in the public school system there but most recently has received a degree from Westminister Choir College and is currently in is second year of a doctoral program at The University of Illinois.

Performances will be:

Saturday, July 30 at 7:30 pm at Trinity U.M.C. in Russell, KS Tickets $10, Click HERE to purchase.
